Your a Gem at Tuesday Throwdown!

It's Tuesday already? And it's Patriot's Day. And my husband is having back surgery!  I have a few minutes to post this cute card though, which is my sample as a DT member at Tuesday Throwdown.

The challenge is, "You're a Gem" at Tuesday Throwdown, and the sponsor is My Heart Pieces. This is one of her images. She draws from her imagination. This little one is picking imaginary fruit.

I love coloring. I can't believe that something I loved to do as a child is what I get to do as an acceptable and quite popular craft now!

Don't you love picking the colors for your cards and projects? I chose these colors quite by accident. Turns out they are very close to Christmas, as I was going to enter a challenge with it, until I realized it had to be a holiday card. Oh well...I love the colors here.

I used chalk and an ancient cloud stencil from CTMH to make the background for my image.

I used Prismacolor Markers and pencils to color the fairy, and paper from Colorbok. The card stock is "vintage" CTMH from my old consultant stash. No, I am not a rep any longer...

The gems are from Michael's, and the ribbon is from Walmart. The flowers were made with my Vagabond maching and Tim Holtz' Tattered Florals die.

The sentiment is from Flourishes, which I stamped with Memento Ink. The eyelets are from (are you ready?) Home Goods!

I will enter this in some challenges:
Sketches by Carly - Sketch #64
Dynamic Duos Challenge - colors
The Corrosive Challenge - Myth and Magic
No Matter Which Challenge - Die Cuts and/or punches
Pile It On - Patterned Paper
Love To Create - Show Us Your Ribbon/Twine

I hope you enjoyed your visit...don't forget to join my blog and follow me!

Have a great day, and get over to Tuesday Throwdown, have fun entering the challenge, and perhaps win some fun digis from Hy Heart Pieces!
