Love Me, Love Me Not
Love this stamp by Digital Delights!
I had so much fun doing paper piecing. I printed this digital stamp out on pink card stock and white, then on pieces of Background and Texture paper by Close To My Heart. I attached small pieces over a print out of the design, covering each heart with the paper I chose for it. I used removable adhesive to do this, and then ran it through my printer. I then cut out the hearts and attached them.
The background paper is from my stash, and the eyelets were free, years ago with an order of stamps I got somewhere. If you look closely, the card is actually upside down, and it's the eyelets that give it away. Apart from the brads, this card is the same from every angle!
I am very happy with this card, and it's the Stickles that make it sing.
Check out Digital Delights...lots of great paper piecing, digital paper and stamps. Plus personalized watermarks and blog design!
Come back soon and check out my upcoming classes.

I Teach Artsy Papercrafting
"That's so pretty."
"How did you do that?"
"I want to learn to do that!
"Can you show me how?"
Yes I can!
I have been asked by several women if I can teach them how I do what I do...be it coloring and shading, layout designing, or creating crafts with paper and stamps.
I am thrilled to announce:
"My Kinda Creations" Classes!
More information to come, so make sure you join my blog or follow me by email, on the right.
That way you won't miss a thing!

Steampunk Violin
Lilypatch Stamps' image of a classic violin inspired me to step back in time.
This stamp was graciously supplied to the Design Team at Tuesday Throwdown, so we could make some inspiration cards for the challenge.
I used some Crafty Secrets stamps and Tim Holtz Craft Resist card stock to make this violin sing. I also used some paper from MME.
I inked the Craft cardstock with Distress Markers in Picket Fence and Broken China.
The mosaic tiles are from Mark Richards. The music notes were cut with my Silhouette.
Ribbon from my stash. I used Distress Stickles to dress up the card with some bling.
Hope you like it,
Bev

Who Holds Your Key?
Digital Delights has done it again!
This beautiful stamp just screamed for a vintage venue. I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils, then softened it with some mineral spirits. Gold Stickles on the key and clear glitter around the holes in the valentine dress it up.
I cut a lattice on my new Silhouette. We are becoming friends, slowly.
The gold mesh ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, as well as the pearls in the corners.
The patterned paper is by Colorbox. The ribbon is curled with my heat tool...one of my favorite techniques.
I used Distress ink around the edges of the card, and tore a couple of the corners.
Finally, I had an old stretch bracelet the got too loose, so I took it apart and used one of the charms on this card.
Visit Digital Delights. There are links in my sidebar...and HAVE FUN!

A Classic Valentine
The designer paper is from a set called, Love Me.
I also used the digital stamp set called, Love My Accessory Set, which includes this lovely heart.
The sentiment comes from Love is in the Air Sentiment Set.
Also, "From my Heart" was added to the ruffled heart using Photoshop.
I used Prismacolor Pencils with Mineral Spirits. An embossing folder from the pile of folders at Card Club makes the purple paper appear so soft. I scraped the edges with my scissors to help it look even softer. I used my new Gelly Roll pen to make the stitches, and Stickles to make the tiny gems. The diamond and pearls are from Michael's.
I made a bow out of my favorite ribbon from CTMH. It's old, and almost gone. I don't think they make it anymore. My heat tool was great for melting the ribbon a bit, so it curls up. I glued it in place with fabric glue. The black Card Stock is from Michael's.
I am entering this card in some challenges:

Jury Duty
I had jury duty last week, so I brought my Prismacolor Pencils along in a baggy, and some digital stamp images. How cool is it to have your images printed out on card stock so you can color anywhere? People were curious, but naturally, everyone was quiet.
It was fun.
Tuesday Throwdown challenge #130 - Frame It
Three tiny mosaic squares on their edge, dress up the corner.
It was fun.
Tuesday Throwdown challenge #130 - Frame It
This image was colored at jury duty. I used mineral spirits on it when I got home , with a paper nib.
I used Stickles in gold to accent the flower.
Using my paper trimmer, I cut a white square background, being careful not to cut into the image.
I then trimmed the image, around the square. I love to cut. It's like therapy to me.
A frame of black was mounted behind the white square.
A frame of black was mounted behind the white square.
The image was then mounted with dimensionals on two papers I found in the bin at Card Club. I tore the edges and overlapped them. I used a piece of sheer ribbon as a border.
Three tiny mosaic squares on their edge, dress up the corner.
The sentiment is from an old See-D's set. I sponged a bit of Momento black ink over the sentiment and bottom of the flower.

The Road Ahead
Digital Delights' Newest stamps...Hurray! This was such a fun digital stamp image to work with. Here's what I did...
1. I downloaded both Wedding Day Dylan and Daisy and Love is in the Air Sentiment Set
from Digital Delights.
2. I loaded them into Photoshop.
3. I Combined the images into one image.
4. Then I printed them out.
5. I colored them with Prismacolor Penciles and Low Odor Mineral Spirits.
6 I chalked the sky using an old CTMH cloud stencil and SU chalks.
7. I cut out the image, using the "Out of the Box" Technique and my old Coluzzle cutting system, only going around the circle part of the way, then using scissors to cut out the rest of the image.
8. layered the picture on CTMH cardstock, and cutting close to the circle to make a frame.
9. Die Cut the background on white Card Stock using a Spellbinders Embossing Folder .
10. Cut a 6x6 Card out of CTMH cs.
11. Attached four eyelets in the corners of the card.
12. Attached picture to embossed bg and then attached bg to card, using dimensionals.
13. Added bow and gems, both from Hobby Lobby.
And that's how I did it!
I am entering this card in the following yummy challenges:
1. A Gem of a Challenge - New Beginnings
2. Lady Anne's Challenges - Anything Goes

Wine Country
My Time Made Easy's Pretty Patterns Challenge this week is using a sketch that I have turned on its head.
Try your hand with this sketch. Be sure to purchase some of the beautiful stamp sets. Play with the digital images and made them your won.
Have fun with it!
I used one of the newest sets of stamps by MTME:
I added flourishes from the set right on the paper image, and printed it out in the perfect size for my card...saving TIME and INK.
I used the papers by MTME that go with these stamps.
Have fun with it!
