I Love Topiaries

And here in Florida people have them in their gardens...but not me. My husband doesn't like them. So, I have to settle for a plastic one in my kitchen. Oh well. At least he likes flowers!

Here is a pretty little topiary image from Designed 2 Delight. I just noticed that it looks like a 
Romeo and Juliet moment! How adorable...
I used a sketch from Catch The Bug Challenge:
The colors are from Make My Monday, 
as well as a CASE color challenge at Designed to Delight.  The card I cased is by Katie Tate:
Enjoy The Simple Things

I love black on my cards...and in my house...and on me! I used some stash paper by CTMH, and also used their cloud stencil. the lace is made with a Martha Stewart punch. 

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and the sky is chalked. I used some Stickles on the topiary and birds. The gems are from The Paper Studio.


The ribbon is from Offray. Years ago I went to their outlet store in PA. I love making these little bows. I use the Martha Stewart method...make two loops and tie them. Easy Peasy!


The buttons are from my stash. I have had them FOREVER.  They seemed perfect for this card, but needed some shadow, so I punched a couple of black circles...
